• How many your vehicle has: one for the engine and one for the cabin -- for a total of two.
• What they do generally: capture all sorts of airborne contaminants -- everything from dirt, road debris, dust, and sand to insects, pollen, mold spores, and more.
• What the engine air filter does: protects the air intake, and thus, the rest of the motor.
